Logo Development - HAW

I think I finally reached a decision on my logo. Ironically, it's one of the first logos I came up with. Even though I came up with a hundred other ideas and developments I still think my first one has much more impact.

If you can't see it already, it's my initials; H A W. I wanted something that was memorable and recognisable, and in my opinion nothing does that better than cold hard symmetry. Expanding on from my logo, I'm thinking of making my brand sailing-orientated due to having instructed it for 8 years. Plus, a lot of the sailing/nautical company logos are very typography based, for example:
